The vastness and vibrancy of an imaginary city captured on a 3-part illustration. Concepts of environmental issues, migration and socioeconomic division are woven into the piece.
The piece was large enough that actual urban planning principles were called upon to distribute the boroughs and streets. Over the course of 7 months I built the city building by building, drawing inspiration from the architecture and urban form of cities such as Venice, Singapore, Rio and others.
